Will my Housekeeper wash up dishes?

Yes, Housekeeper will clean up any dishes left over from breakfast and wash them or load the dishwasher for you. They will also put any clean dishes away for you. 

When there is a large amounts of washing to do, it can eats into your Housekeepers cleaning time. If you would prefer your Housekeeper prioritise the washing up over other cleaning tasks, please add this as a cleaning instruction via comment section of the online booking form. Note this may mean your Housekeeper cannot clean all the rooms in your house, we advice client to increase the visit time to account, where necessary.

 

 

What services can my Housekeeper not provide?

If you've booked a normal 'one-off' or 'recurring' clean, your Housekeeper cannot provide a vacuum, mop or bucket. You must provide these. 

For safety reasons, our Housekeepers are not expected to:

 

  • Lift heavy items
  • Clean surfaces outside of normal reach
  • Clean exterior windows, garages and patios
  • Clean heavily soiled areas, including animal litter
  • Undertake gardening or landscaping work
  • Defrost freezers or unblock pipes
  • Remove mould, biohazard, animal litter or pet mess
  • Undertake pest control or extermination.

 

OTHER FAQ

 

  1. When booking a normal 'one-off' or 'recurring' clean, our Housekeepers cannot provide end-of-tenancy, after-builder, move-in, move-out, or any other forms of deep cleaning. This includes specialist services such as: Deep stain removal, Steam, carpet or upholstery cleaning.  If you require any of these services, please do inquire about our deep cleaning services here.
  2. Our Housekeepers cannot provide childcare. We have our Housekeepers undergo background checks but these are not the enhanced checks necessary for those required to work with childcare.

 

Do you provide evening and weekend cleaning services?  

Yes, we OFFER evening and weekend cleaning. These can be booked on our online booking page.

 

How much will it cost to clean my house?

This is dependent on the property size and type of cleaning being booked. E.g A 1 bedroom/1bathroom should take 2hrs and 3hrs depending on the nature of the other aspects of the property vis a vis the lounge and the kitchen and other common areas like the stairways. We usually suggest property size of this nature should be cleaned for 3hrs.

Do you have insurance?

Yes, our housekeepers have standard basic insurance cover in event of accidental damages to client’s property during any cleaning service.

 

Can I extend the time allocated for a clean?

Yes, service users can extend their booked time with the housekeeper.

 

 

What is KAMDLTD coverage area? We currently cover the following post codes: W1, W2, WC1, WC2, EC1, EC2, EC3, SE1, SW1, N1, N4, N5, and SW8.  

 

How can I make a booking recurring? Clients can book an appointment repeatedly. All they need to do is leave a comment and description of how and when they want recurring appointment to take effect (this is done by our admin)
